Details:

Off-the-shelf High Content Cellular (HCS) platforms and automated microscopes daily capture and store thousands of pictures. However, downstream, cell classification is mostly done by human eye and brain (expert biologists), a time consuming and poorly reproducible task. Few solutions are available today. On the one hand, one finds basic classifiers with limited settings and/or providing poorly reliable results. On the other hand, stands a powerful but highly complex tool. 

Developed by experts in the classification of algorithms in close cooperation with biologists, the software solution overcomes such limitations, offering the practitioner an automated supervised classification. The solution operates in three main steps: 

- interactive segmentation

- Statistical analysis

- Supervised classification

And differentiates through: 

- automated / tunable algorithmic parameters

- real-time segmentation

- supervised classification of statistical features

- user-friendly human interface 

Type and Role of Partners Sought:

Industry, research or analysis laboratory dealing with cells and biological tissues analysis. 

The role would be to integrate the software into their current system for exploitation, with eventually further developments for compliance to specifications or research project.
